Matthew 25:   "..I was a stranger and you took me in."

HISTORY

MATTHEW 25 was envisioned by Fletch Coke and the late Cotton Clark. It became reality with the help of Ames Davis and Sue Spickard. In May of 1986, with abundant faith, work, and determination, MATTHEW 25's doors opened at 8th and Broadway with 22 beds. In July of 1990, MATTHEW 25 moved to its current home on the second floor of the Vine Hill Towers at 625 Benton Avenue and now hosts 50 beds.

MATTHEW 25 "helps men who are helping themselves".  Yearly, over 220 men find confidence, encouragement, and the opportunity to gain skills needed to maintain employment and independent housing.  MATTHEW 25 provides transitional housing, meals, drug and alcohol free environment, structured programs, and referral services.  We help homeless men regain their place as contributing members of society.
